Pop singer Fergie was born Stacy Ann Fergusan on March 27, 1975 in Whittier, California. Growing up she attended Glen A Wilson High School.
Fergie was a child actress and appeared on the TV show "Kids Incorporated". She was also the voice of Sally Brown on a few Charlie Brown specials in the mid 1980s.
Fergie's music career began with the female trio Wild Orchid. When the band failed to become successful Ferguson turned to meth, but she did manage to break the addiction.
Fergie joined the Black Eyed Peas in 2003 and helped to launch them into mainstream popularity. She sang on hits such as "Where Is the Love" and "My Humps". She released her first solo album "The Dutchess" in 2006 which spawned several hits including "London Bridge" and "Fergalicious". Fergie plans to continue recording with the Black Eyed Peas.
