Lady GaGa is the stage name for Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta. The name Lady GaGa supposedly comes from the Queen song "Radio Ga-Ga."

She was born and raised in New York City. She attended New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. After that she wrote songs for well known recording artists and performed in a burlesque rock show.

Her debut album "The Fame" was released in 2008 and contained her number one hit "Just Dance."
