Maroon 5 started out in Los Angeles when vocalist and rhythm guitarist Adam Levine, keyboardist Jesse Carmichael, base guitarist Mickey Madden, and drummer Ryan Dusick formed a garage band called Kara's Flowers in 1995. The lineup changed a little and the band changed their name to Maroon 5 in 2001. Soon they released their debut album Songs About Jane which contained four hit songs. | ||
