Rapper Flo Rida was born Tramar Dillard in Carol City, Florida. His stage name is a play on his home state. As a teenager Flo Rida worked and toured with rap group 2 Live Crew. He signed with Poe Boy in 2007. Early releases paired him with Rick Ross and DJ Khaled. Big time success came to Flo Rida with the release of his single "Low" which hit number one on the Billboard charts in 2008. He hit number one again in 2009 with "Right Round." | ||
